The Gala Collection: Refined by Life, Radiant in Every Moment

“Gala was born from a single night on a mountain—when a woman who’d spent years waiting for the right moment realized there might not be one.”
The Mountain

The mountain was familiar. Claire had skied here a dozen times. She wasn’t looking for adventure—just one last run before the lifts closed.

She followed a natural drainage line off the main trail. It looked like it might connect to another run. It didn’t. After a few turns, the trees closed in, and there were no markers, no tracks, no signs of anyone having been there at all.

She tried to backtrack. The light was flat, making every direction look the same. She pushed forward, downhill, thinking she could find a road. The snow turned soft without warning. Her ski caught something solid. She went sideways, tumbling through powder, and landed hard between two pines. Her left ankle folded wrong. Not broken—but not taking weight either.

She sat back against the pine. Not because she’d accepted anything. Because she’d run out of moves.

The sun dropped behind the ridge and the temperature followed.

She thought about the dinner she’d canceled last week. Too tired. The black dress in her closet, tag still on, waiting for an occasion that kept not arriving.

She’d been living like a tenant in her own life. Paying rent to a future self. Waiting until she’d earned the right to show up fully—as if the present was just a waiting room for the real thing.

But the cold didn’t care about her plans. The mountain didn’t check whether she was ready. There was no “ready.” There was only this breath, this moment, and what she chose to do with it.

If she got out of this, she wasn’t going to wait anymore.
Living in the present

The rescue came after dark. Two nights in the hospital. Dehydration, mild hypothermia, a swollen ankle that would bother her for months.

She walked out with everything she came in with—except the belief that she had time.

Claire doesn’t save things anymore. She wears the perfume on Tuesdays. She opens the good wine on a Wednesday. She wore the black dress to a dinner last month—not because it was special, but because she was done waiting for it to be.

She shows up differently now. Not louder. Not performing. Just… present. The way you show up when you’ve stopped treating your life like a preview for something better.

The Gala Collection

Gala is about the decision to meet every day as your fullest self—not because you’ve earned it, but because you’re here. And being here is enough.

Not a luxury you earn.

A presence you return to.
